Hybrid Ferry Power Design

As Utility Coordination Lead, SG3 developed the plan to integrate new 26 kV power supply duct bank through six blocks of Seattle waterfront after the Waterfront Seattle design reached 100%. Coordinated system requirements between Seattle City Light, SDOT and Washington State Ferries to fast-track the design without changing other Waterfront project design elements. Washington State Ferries later revised their concept to install a submarine power cable, leaving a single block of this 26 kV power within the Waterfront project.
