Pier 58 Demolition and Replacement

The new Pier 58 design team, including SG3, was hard at work on the replacement when the old pier began to twist and move west (a bad thing for a structure!) and the threat of a catastrophic collapse became imminent. SG3 developed and coordinated the implementation of plans to disconnect utilities prior to a failure. When the event occurred, those plans had been implemented and no utilities or adjacent structures were damaged. SG3 continues to support the design of the new pier with utility connections and integration of utilities within the pier structure.
