Elliott Bay Seawall Update

The Seawall Project team and Seattle Aquarium staff celebrating project completion in front of the aquarium.

This week marked a huge milestone on the Elliott Bay Seawall project. Work in front of the Seattle Aquarium finished THREE MONTHS ahead of schedule! SG3 is so pleased to have been part of this success, which required dedication, ingenuity, and teamwork from many talented team members.

To mark the occasion, the Seattle Aquarium removed the black paper that has covered their windows for nearly a year, and hosted a celebration at the facility’s Puget Sound Hall. They thanked the team for their terrific work on this three-year adventure, celebrating not only the Seawall completion, but also the team’s efforts to keep the Seattle Aquarium alive and thriving for all their guests.

We can’t wait to unveil the rest of the Seattle Waterfront’s transformation!
